Finally, the long awaited first home tour! We bought this home five months ago and since then we have worked nonstop to bring it back to life. Before, this house was dirty, dingy, and in serious need of renovation. Now, this beautiful home from the 1950s is beautiful, comfy, cozy, and I love it. It just needed a little TLC.
While choosing our interior design, the most important thing for me was highlighting all of the house’s natural light. This was easy to do by picking light but soft colors, and adding a touch of gold wherever I could. I wanted a touch of Charleston and the beach in this Midwestern home.
